So this is what i am thinking about getting for my gaming / school rig now i need your help in telling me if this is good or stupid.

So lets start

Graphics card: ASUS GTX 980 PCI-E3.0 4GB GDDR5

CPU: Intel Core i5 4690K 3,9Ghz Turbo, 6MB cache, 1150

Power: 750w Corsair CX750M ATX Semi-Modular

Motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty Z97X Killer ATX Intel LGA1150

RAM: 16GB Crucial Ballistix Sport 2x8GB 1600Mhz

Hard Drive: Seagate 2TB SATA3 6Gb/s, 64MB 7200

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 120 GB

CPU fan: Zalman CNPS10X

Tower: NZXT H230 Silent

So any thoughts? I'm not smart on computer parts but what i am mostly thinking about is BF4 ArmA 2 - 3 CS:GO CS:S and some school work.

Should i get a bigger SSD or?

You pretty much nailed it.

The only thing I will comment is the CPU. If you plan on keeping this computer for a very long time, you might want to consider a i7 instead of that i5.

Nothing wrong with the i5 you chose, it's just that e.g a i7 4770k costs around the same, has twice as many threads and more cache.

Seems solid. If you want to save some money go with 8bg ram instead of 16 unless you multitask alot and need it wich most ppl dont and you can allways get some more if you need it.

I also think the phrapic card is a bit over kill maybe. I have a gtx 760 4gb and i can pretty much run every game that cost less then half of that card. But sure it might be good for future proofing

TBH drop RAM down to 8gb. Unless your doing a LOT of Photoshop/After Effects work at the same time, you will never need all of that.

Do you need a 2tb drive? Why not just stick at 1tb?

IMO all you really get that is significant is hyperthreading which is useless for gaming.

I've run an i5-3570k OCed to 4.5Ghz for years and it works fine.
