Wolfy Posted March 10, 2015 Content Count: 65 Joined: 09/15/13 Status: Offline Share Posted March 10, 2015 So my birthday is coming up in May 7th, and I've been using this standard HP mouse for a while, ever since I built my desktop in September of last year. I asked some people if I should get a keyboard or a mouse for my birthday, they said get a mouse, which I assumed, I was just checking and making sure I'm doing the right thing. So, yeah, I need a mouse. One preferably for gaming, it doesn't have to be, but y'know, I do a lot of gaming on this computer and want something to possible improve my gameplay maybe? Give me your suggestions, please. Also, thanks in advanced for anyone who helps me out. Link to comment

Guest harro
When you're picking out a mouse, personal preferences goes a lot into it so I'd just go to a store that has them on display maybe if you live in a city area. If not, then just watch youtube videos. 3 of the bigger brands to look out for are Steelseries/Razer/Logitech. Don't get a Razer mouse if you don't want to deal with always being connected to the internet to have your settings saved. 1 Link to comment

I personally don't have any experience using gaming mice because I've always used a lousy stock one. However, from the people I've talked to and whenever gaming mice was the topic that was brought up, a lot of them said the Razer Naga is one of the best gaming mice out there. 1 Link to comment

Unnamed Newbie Posted March 10, 2015 Content Count: 886 Joined: 07/25/11 Status: Offline Share Posted March 10, 2015 Depends what type of gaming. For just FPS games, I think the Razer Deathadder or Razer Imperator would be fine with just a handfull of buttons on the side. I use a Corsair M95, which has an extra 9 buttons on the side, so games like Witcher or MMORPG's are easier (because of all of the F# key binds there are). Another good one for the Witcher/MMORPG games would be the Razer Naga as well. Basically comes down to game type preference. Try and see if there are any stores near you to get a feel on the grip of the mouse. I got to do that and found that the M95 was more comfortable to me than the Mad Catz Rat for example. 1 Link to comment
