phantom153 Posted May 27, 2015 Content Count: 642 Joined: 02/16/15 Status: Offline Share Posted May 27, 2015 from what i understand now correct me if im wrong someone that AMD is better for multithread process's and things that require multiple programs running at once such as editing or other things of that nature. where are intel is better at single threading so gaming which only involves one process would be better on intel but both can be used just as well intel having a slight lead for now. i might be a little wrong on this but its something i remember reading when i was lookign to build my rig. As for the graphics card, just keep what you're planning on purchasing, because the budget processor is going to be responsible for most of your bottlenecks anyways. Also since you're buying older parts, I might recommend buying refurbished/used parts from trusted vendors to save a bit of money. Link to comment
