are you an AMD fan as far as cpu's go or do u want an intel.

Im not entirely sure on the difference between other then brand or either personal preference. Again, I'm looking for a solid PC that I can play games like CSGO etc.

from what i understand now correct me if im wrong someone that AMD is better for multithread process's and things that require multiple programs running at once such as editing or other things of that nature. where are intel is better at single threading so gaming which only involves one process would be better on intel but both can be used just as well intel having a slight lead for now. i might be a little wrong on this but its something i remember reading when i was lookign to build my rig.

Going Intel is really only worth it if you're willing to shell out for an i5 or better. As for the graphics card, just keep what you're planning on purchasing, because the budget processor is going to be responsible for most of your bottlenecks anyways.

Also since you're buying older parts, I might recommend buying refurbished/used parts from trusted vendors to save a bit of money.

did u check to see if 500 watts will be enough power it probably will be and that all you other parts will work together and nothing will be bottle necked. also are u gunna plug directly into the router otherwise u will need a wireless adapter.
