I do not use anything... As long as you are aware as to what you do there is no need for AV software.. plus I hate having programs that sit in the background and take up resources

Kaspersky and malwares on my desktop and MSE and malware bytes on my laptop. Kaspersky is just the best you can get for your money and malwarebytes is just a really useful tool.

I've used various throughout the years, but this is what I currently use:

 

Avast Antivirus for active scanning, disabled during gaming to save resources.

Comodo Suite because Anti-malware/virus scanner, also has a ton of features such as auto-sandboxing of new apps, ect.

SuperAntiSpyware. Self explanatory.

Usually just malwarebytes and whatever cheap free stuff I can get my hands on, if that's even needed.

 

If I feel like paying real money or asking my computer guy for free copies, I go with ESET nod32 AV. Pretty good stuff, not too expensive either.

MSE has improved a ton, seems to catch most viruses as of late. Usually run MB then SB if my computer is acting weird and MSE didn't detect anything.

Switched to Webroot Secure internet security complete. 37 bucks on amazon.com vs 80 on the website.

 

Seconds to install, scans in a flash, pauses internet connection upon detection and is also cloud based analysis.

i use symantec antivirus+malware bytes. my mother works at a college so we get alot of software for free.
