Back when we had the CS:S servers, I was always playing on Crackhouse DM servers when I wasn't on our Jail Break server. I feel that servers that are fast-paced killing are ones that are popular because people look to play these game modes before competitive CS:GO. Servers like 1v1 and Deathmatch are always the first servers I head to when I am getting ready for some MM on CS:GO, because it's a nice warm-up, on top of the small warm-up period provided during the start of each competitive match. I feel that it's a very simple but promising type of server (if done right) and it would not be too resource heavy on the dedi. As for the crackhouse aspect of the server, I feel that it would be something different than just having the normal active duty/reserve maps on the server. I found a plug-in and a map that are pretty well-made and I feel would be nice aspects of the server. I know the server isn't up yet, but I wanted to provide the basic necessities (along with some additions) just to put some ideas on the table. We would also need a DM plug-in, but I believe the one on the 1v1 server might work just fine for this server. cs_crackhouse_remake_v5 - The map for the server. Quake Sounds Plugin - Potential plugin to add some effect to the server. I'd appreciate it if some of you reading the thread could provide your thoughts on potentially having this as a server. Thanks for reading! 3 Link to comment

Played on HG's 24/7 crackhouse but it was TDM and it was fun af. But idk if the map will bring in a population of players because I don't see it being played much on other servers that I know that has it Link to comment

An example of a successful one is the smuT clan's server. 1 Link to comment
Frostbitten Posted August 3, 2015 Content Count: 2187 Joined: 08/11/12 Status: Offline Share Posted August 3, 2015 I'm down for a deathmatch server. Great addition along with the 1v1 server. The only thing that worries me is how to get it populated. Not saying we should just add the server for population needs, but having actual people to play against adds a flare to it. You can't simply waltz in the server by yourself and expect it to fill up. Bots can solve the problem, sure, but they don't offer a real challenge unless put at a high difficulty. They're not unique, is what I'm trying to say. I like the idea, nonetheless, considering I like to compete. Would love to see how this would turn out, especially if we add popular maps like crackhouse and those from the Active Duty lineup. Link to comment
