Don't we used to have a system where the public and SA gives opinion about the person who submit application then move up to CA+ to give opinion?

 

I liked this system somewhat because it was up to CA+ to give someone admin, but I guess what made people change this was that it wasn't 7 days like this system (which could have been changed), and I guess the higher ups wanted everyone to have a say, and made everyone's opinion on the person who would be applying equal with this new system.

 

The only issue I have with this is the fact that the applicant wont really be able to defend themselves lets say if someone were to be dishonest on their app. How would anyone know if it is correct without hearing out the applicant, which would also lead to leaking of what people write about.

 

If someone is dishonest on their app an AO or other admins could take care of the person stating that they're lying, and/or removing their posts on the application, simple as that. The higher ups had a rule if someone were to leak information from SA section about admin apps, the person would leak information to others in the community (like the person who was applying), would get punished by receiving an admin strike or a ban.

well if the SA doesnt play on the server that person plays then what would they base their vote on regardless.
