I'm not sure if 5 minutes is the longest CSGO will allow the rounds to be but maybe 10 minutes might be a little better? I feel like a game of PB shouldnt end in a round draw, that just means there isnt enough time. Of course with the increase of the rounds we would really need to have the no camping as last CT rule enforced even more. Just my opinion. Link to comment
Ayjin Posted July 30, 2015 Content Count: 989 Joined: 06/13/15 Status: Offline Share Posted July 30, 2015 I wouldn't go as for as 10 minutes, but there has been the case where the server will be high in activity and due to both the ct side and the t side maybe causing problems by delaying the round through talking too much, or rebelling can cause the round to end without much happening. There has been plenty of times as when I was say hosting a death game and the timer would cut me off before every t has gotten a chance to participate. Usually that happens because people on both sides keep talking causing others not being able to hear, or people taking too long to react. Overall I wouldn't mind the time being increased but not much because sometimes people will get tired of waiting a long periods of time to be able to enjoy the next round. Link to comment

It already sucks enough if you die 30 seconds in and have to sit through 4:30 of CTs trying to get Ts to go somewhere and maybe host a death game. I'd be okay with increasing the round limit to 6 minutes. Maybe increase T mute time to 45 seconds, maybe One extra minute should be enough time IMO to finish up the deathgames and do things without creating too much more of a delay. Imagine if rounds were 10 minutes and you got killed 30 seconds in due to crossfire, or freekill, or a map related death (falling off on accident on clouds or a door crushing you) then having to sit through 9 minutes of "All ts go here....I said all Ts go here...All ts if you are not here by # you are KOS....Now, if you want to play a death game go here...I said if you want to play a death game go here...." etc. etc. Link to comment
Ayjin Posted July 30, 2015 Content Count: 989 Joined: 06/13/15 Status: Offline Share Posted July 30, 2015 You got to take in the fact there's alot of people who try to be ct and cause problems because they haven't read the rules and fully understand how this jailbreak works, so they tend to conflict orders or give basic orders such as go here, then go there. I agree with the increased mute time, and I agree with it not being a 10 minute round length. I think it should only be increased by maybe a minute or so. Link to comment

SL4DE Posted July 30, 2015 Content Count: 1612 Joined: 05/09/15 Status: Offline Share Posted July 30, 2015 I believe the time is fine at 5 minutes, however, CT's need to quick to give initial orders (and stop with the "AFK freeze" in the first orders. This causes so much confusion and chaos...), be a bit more assertive with orders, and to take care of situations quickly. T's are chaotic typically so 5 minutes is enough time to decide when to act. It's all completely situational, but overall it's a good time. I highly doubt most players would stay after being killed if the round length was extended over 5 minutes. That's longer than most typical casual/competitive rounds in CSGO. Usually when you want the round to last, everything is going smoothly, and the match is mostly controlled. We've had it at 5 minutes a round for years and I'd rather have that stay. 10 minutes would be like 3 minutes of orders, 7 of hide and seek and it's just going to delay and people will get tired of waiting while they're dead and leave. Draws IMO are a win for CTs since they actually survived in the end, especially how our server being favored for Ts (despite the fact that it gives Ts a point I think???) I wouldn't really mind adding maybe a minute or less to round timer? I mean it feels like every time I play (not that often though) the CT and/or T team(s) suffer major casualties by the time it gets to the last minute anyways so I don't really see how adding an extra minute would do much.
