T's giving away positions of fellow T's

We had this discussion in the past and the ruling was that it was a dick move but not considered team-killing because prisoners should be allowed to gain the trust of the CTs by giving away their fellow Ts position and because of the RP scenarios.

I agree it's annoying and I personally believe it should still be considered TKing but the ruling was previously considered not TKing.

I mean in regards to the RP part that's stupid. If you want to get that technical, you're not going to know where your fellow prisoner is as you won't have a virtual map telling you. And it's more realistic to NOT say, as "snitches get stitches".

Honestly it's a bit of a grey area. I do think it's a bit of a team kill and possibly a form of ghosting (so to speak). Tbh I only see the kids (14-15 year Olds) doing it. Id be in favor of adding it to the rules tho.

I've done this quite often actually. I'll tell a T if they tell me where the missing T is they'll get a freeday. Kinda enforces an RP feel when you have those prisoners that are suck ups to the guards and get benefits. However it's always a choice. It's not "if you don't tell me where the missing T is I'll kill you". It's an unreasonable request because they may not even know.

Always how I've thought of it, I've heard the team-killing argument as well though. I don't think it would hurt to make it against the rules if people feel strongly against it, TBH I don't see the situation come up that often.

It's not a team-kill, but the T that is giving away positions for free is foolish, and should be shunned. T's that are enticed to a reward for ratting out their T friend should also be shunned, but that's an understandable excuse for a T to give away another position of a T.

If anything, the only thing the rebelling T has to lose immedietly is his position, he can always fight back.

This hasn't been a rule by my knowledge, just people consider it being a dick move because the people who usually snitch are the annoying kids who NEVER rebel and just sit in PB and want to follow the orders giving the Ts no chance to want to win.

I've been told by an admin like once or twice that it was considered teamkilling, but it was never punished. I don't think it's that severe unless someone is doing it constantly.
