I've been told by an admin like once or twice that it was considered free killing, but it was never punished. I don't think it's that severe unless someone is doing it constantly.

Freekilling would imply that it's the CT breaking a rule tho. Far as I've always known ratting out your T buddies isn't against the rules, just a really dick move. So whatever admin told you that was either wrong or misinformed. I wouldn't mind seeing it added to the rules however.

Let's stop the "I wouldn't mind..." line.

I wouldn't mind if it wasn't added, but neither of these claims are an affirmation to the point.

I would like to see it added but if it's not added I probably wouldn't care. It's not a huge problem, I probably only see the issue happen once or twice every few days and the less dictating the rules the better imo. And I say that lightly as I like the rules we have now, but just because something is a very dick move doesn't mean we should make it against the rules. So in a way, i abstain.

People tend to forget PB is a RP(ROLE PLAYING) server.

Snitches are part of it. It's annoying

It's still indirect Team killing, but i always allow it. (tell me if im wrong)

I've only ever done stuff if they do it every single round.

One off, it's just a colossal dick move. Round after round of constantly leading the CTs to every T is when I'll tell them to stop.

Which is balanced against how fun the thing is in practice. It's why rules such as "You have to see the T kill the CT in order to know they've killed someone" have been struck down before (a fairly common rule on more RP PB servers years ago), somethings are fun to roleplay, this sort of thing really isn't.

Another option would be disabling the radar. That would still allow people to rat out their teammates and enhance the "Roleplay", but just with the knowledge that they have rather than just knowing exactly where they are using the radar.

If you happen to be interested http://www.sourcemod.net/vbcompiler.php?file_id=135925 @Nuclear Onion

No guarantees that the plugin will work though, as I haven't tested it myself yet.

Eh, not too fond of disabling radar. Especially since some newer maps actually have a copy of the map on there which makes finding places easier. Plus I've found it to come in handy when playing T to assist in rebelling. Also handy when a CT is camping and someone happens to see him. On the flipside it also helps CTS by showing where a teammate died and getting an idea where the rebels are. Also can be used to know where you teammates are so you can cover every area (for example on spyvsspy I can see a teammate is already watching the vents so I can instead go watch a door). I get that it would help with the role play aspect, but think that'd be a little too far imo.

Well I mean it doesn't show all the hidden stuff. I think spyvsspy is the only one that shows a vent. It's mostly just for seeing where basketball or pool is.
