I think spyvsspy is the only one that shows a vent. It's mostly just for seeing where basketball or pool is. Even then, the developers of most maps in rotation have not implemented the image file for the minimap/map in game. Even with map zoom binds/commands, the only information you can work with is the general location of where an enemy has been seen. Using it for navigation is nearly pointless, especially if a CT gives a directional order(Ex: Face North, South, ect.), as most players are not familiar with the small "compass" around the minimap. Disabling the minimap altogether would add to the roleplay aspect to it, however, the minimap is almost completely useless on maps without a map image implemented by the map developer. Also, Spy_vs_spy_beta_v7 is the only map that shows vents, as the map is so small with very little hallways. The only ventway is connected to every other vent on the map, with an exception of one in deathcrate. Link to comment

I use minimap on every map to see in which general direction an enemy is. It will still show relative to your dot where the enemies are. So it doesn't give a huge advantage but it does help both teams to an extent. Link to comment
