Okay but seriously, please do NOT add this plugin to other servers including pb. It doesn't make deathrun a unique server to go to for that reason. It just makes people go to all other other servers in the end and then deathrun will be left kinda uncool. We don't have much of the cool shit on deathrun as it is (rip teletubbies) and !marry is the only funny and cool plugin that makes deathrun even more exciting to play on. I don't think it's gonna be a good idea to add it to every other server because that uniqueness is just gone for deathrun.

I see the points of wanting DR to be unique, but tbh I find marry to be better fitting for PB anyway due to the nature of the relationships among the players. Knowing the playerbase on PB, the marry plugin would be a huge hit among the players. I understand something like piggyback being only on DR back in css, but then again its not like that plugin would have worked very well on any of the other servers.

 

I just don't think keeping marry from any other server for uniquness is a very good reason. It's not comparable to something like piggyback.

I actually disagree with you. Deathrun isn't as highly active as pb so it's harder to populate it because it just came back. My reason for uniqueness is that pb is always full on a daily basis whereas deathrun isn't. That one perk on deathrun can make a difference for the server. If pb has the plug-in right now then most people from from deathrun would probably just end up going to pb for it instead when that server has a more active population. Deathrun was half empty earlier today so I can tell it's going take time to improve the player base. Even an admin was mass inviting people to join dr today because he said he doesn't want the server to die because not too many people are on. So it's signs like those that tell me to leave this plug-in for dr only.

If having this command on PB will prevent people from joining DR then I won't bother adding it to PB. Just seems stupid to me that people are convinced this one sole plugin is the reason why others join deathrun, is it really THAT special?

It's that deathrun does not have enough content to make it different than what it's normally perceived... I thought you guys brought it back to get more people excited and into it. Not all servers have the the same content or plugins because then everything would feel sorta the same when you switch between servers. I don't see the point in adding it to pb when Dr barely had things to make it look fun and cool; if you think about what is brought to this dr server and what makes it different from every other dr server on csgo.

Exactly what I'm thinking. I honestly don't see this plugin getting people to join DR. It doesn't do much, its mainly just for shits and giggles. At this point I think people joining and pushing for DR is mostly off of nostalgia, which isn't a bad thing. But I seriously don't see the marry plugin being a driving force nor a saving factor of death run. It doesn't add anything to gameplay like piggyback did and is only fun community wise and isn't something that will bring in players.
