Football is a dainty little sport.:001_rolleyes: Also, the pads add weight, especially the helmets. More weight generally means more mass, and more mass equals more force. Having a 300 pound mama jama fall on your body hurts like a bitch with pads as much, if not more, than without. Its like Kevlar. the bullet doesn't kill you, but the force of the bullet still hurts you. Link to comment

When the UK attempts to play American Football: UHnd1dNAYH4 Don't get me wrong now, I think that some of the shit they can do with a SOCCER ball is pretty cool but it lacks physical contact which makes it boring. Haven't played near as much after moving back to the the US from Brasil. As for American Football... Hard Hits = entertainment plain and simple both to watch and to do. Hitting people is fun. And soccer fans tell me that the US is supposed to be good. We better not go winless in the world cup again. That was embarrassing last WC when the US didn't even win a damn game and got eliminated LOL Link to comment

I played that for one semester in Highschool, then I decided my rib cage was too valuable to destroy and quit. Took up martial arts instead, much safer. Link to comment
