I also remember having a Sega Genesis later when I was older and playing Sonic all the time on it.

 

Pfff, I Never Had A PS1, I Hated That Thing, I Hate Sony, The Only Reason I Ever Bought A PS2 Is Because I Wanted To Play Grand Theft Auto And It Hadnt Come Out For Xbox Yet.

I am not old enough to have been born when it first started, but they were definentally the first video games I played. The next would have been Mario for nintendo and Ecco for the Game Gear. They are closer to the ones posted above.
