What were your first video games?

Oh, and this, I remember playing it with my cousin on the old Super nintendo

 

 

Erm shadow blasters, sonic the hedgehog etc, I used to play those on the sega.

 

 

Of course, I used to play these with my bro on the sega when we were younger.

Thats also the first game i ever played, i think i was 4 maybe 5.

Metal Gear Solid for the PS1 baby,played it allll night when I was 6.

He still plays most of those. He's sad enough to have Streets of Rage on his computer. I think they've become replacements for a social life.

 

My laptop's got NES and SNES games on it and so does my DS, though either I have a bad emulator or SNES on DS just doesn't work 100%. Still, old school games for the win.

Doom 1 in Dos

Oh I had so many games.

 

 

Was playing this when I found out about Doom. Sierra Online

Each place on the map was a area that had games to play and lobbys of people to talk to. It was awesome. But then later got shut down.

 

 

From doom it was all uphill with games Like doom][ and Dukenukem3d and FPS game galore.

I really wander why Doom is such a popular game...I hated it, the way it tries to scare you made it fail, bad aliens and whatever.

Well, my family never had the money for me to have games of my own until I was around five or six. My first real gaming experiences were at a friend's house playing the first Metroid on the NES. After I got a PC I played Wolf3d, Doom, Duke Nukem, Duke it out in DC (awesome game, I'm with you Modgers), Full Throttle, and Mech Warrior + Mech Warrior 2.

I Only Had Doom For N64 Growing Up Since We Had Shitty Computers For So Long.

 

Never Managed To Beat It Though, N64 Version Was Wicked Hard.

when I was 4 I had lots of games in floppy disc's like:

- pacman

- Keen

- something with a car that you were supposed to race within time

- a game where u played a monkey that had too escape from the zoo(this was my favorite)

- frogger

- a game with a cat that had to climb buildings starting off trashcans till skyscrapers eating birds along the way

- ... lots more i can't remember cause its too long ago
