Weapon Skin Colors Question

I recently bought a red weapon color skin on the shop and it only works after dropping weapons several times and i can only see the color when the gun is dropped and its on the floor. Is this how it's suppost to work? (Cant see color when holding weapon)

Yea, that's how it works, it only shows color outside of your pov. Only time you can see it when you drop it. However, other people see the color whenever you pick up a gun.

Nice to know that info ya I bought an orange weapon color skin and it wasn't working but guess only people could see it.
