I think we should be asking ourselves: how do we get admins to play JB more often and cover longer periods of time? Ideally we don't want to ban anyone, we just need to have a SA on the server to discourage rule breaking in the first place.

 

 

Can we increase the ammount of credits/raffle points per minute for SA, just for jailbreak?

 

Pb is fine the way it currently is admin wise.

It does have a regular flow of admins and our reg player base has done a great job reporting the bad players.

Same with them messaging us and going on chatbox.

 

PB can be a lot for admins to handle, not that its hard, but it can overwhelm you at times.

Our Admins did a good job of explaining why something like this will not go through. They are not "glorified babysitters" they are the ones who keep our servers fun and entertaining to be a part of. They are also competent members of the community that are expected to be an example for all our players and members of what SG looks for in players when we consider those we want playing in our community. Someone who takes blindly the word of a bunch of random people on the internet and punishes another player for it is not someone we would want in our community. Any Admin caught doing that would receive an Admin strike pretty unanimously.

 

While Rawr did so sarcastically, he did give you the proper response to this situation. Player complaints are constantly monitored by our CAs and if possible, AOs and BDs can follow up on ones that may not have all the evidence given but could find more in the logs. If you are trying to say that it's better for our Admins to blindly listen to a bunch of people on the servers than for you to type "record demo1" in console, you're sorely mistaken and I question your understanding of what is a logical route to deal with things.

 

What happens when a group of players who don't like you start saying "Omg omg DarkJester was just saying racist jokes and racial slurs on the mic for like 10 minutes before you got here!" and our Admins act like you want them to? You would end up with a nice week long ban, does that seem fair to you? It isn't, and that's why we don't run things like that here.

I would love to ban random people based on a no-evidence backed claim. Then we truly can become a broken and corrupt justice system on par with Best Korea or a american court system.

 

 

That and i get to ban the majority of the PB population.

Just get a demo and ss of steam id and make a player complaint. It's not that hard to do.

Recording a demo is not so hard, just open ur console and type record "demoname", f12 to screenshot. When there are no admins in the server, this is what u should do to get a rule-breaker banned instead of shouting he freekilled. Banning a person is easy, but it does require evidence. Tbh we want to ban as less people as possible because the players are the only way to populate the server. Personally, I won't ban a person simply because couple of people said he freekilled, I need solid proof. But thanks for ur advice, if we have done anything inappropriate in banning people, we will try our best to improve ourselves.

Wouldn't that make people think that we're only on the servers for the raffle? There are plenty of admins who play on JB, yet alone sitting there for hours (ahem @SL4DE) Not to mention that we already have 4x for the raffle points.
