PS3 OR XBOX 360 ELITE.

It's a shame there can't be any compromise between the two. Competition between corporations is healthy... most of the time(see EA and Take-Two, bastards). Competition between people who own different consoles is not.

 

I bought Bioshock on Sunday by the way. Great atmosphere and locales but I'm mystified as to how this game got such high ratings, it's one of the most annoying shooters I've played.

I would have picked the PS3's because of the common fatal hardware failures in the Xbox, I only got the Red ring of Death on my Xbox once, but it was because my xbox wasn't getting enough power cause the cord was lose. But Xbox Elite is a good choice. The main reason I got an Xbox was in case my shitty comp. couldn't handle Left4Dead I would get it for Xbox. ._.

Seriously though the 360 isn't all that bad, but make sure you get warranty. I have never bought a blu-ray film for my PS3 because I just order films on SKY Box Office, or download them.

 

Game wise its all about what games you fancy more, the 360 exclusives or the PS3 exclusives, and it also depends on how many games you intend to buy, I don't go crazy for games and buying Xboxlive every year would be pointless for me in my opinion, but I guess the 360's better value makes up for that, although with value comes worse hardware :mellow:

He is getting a updated version of the 360. The Elite, and I think they fixed the hardware issue and the Elites dont have the same hardware.

well. X box 360 elite is cheaper.. better in my opinion, and dont worry the store im buying at has a 3 year garantee and it got the ultimate t bag game... halo 3 :O and gears of war. and assasins creed. oh and theres a game called kingdom hearts 3 which will also be on 360 oh ands an ugraded. its almost half cheap as ps3 and it gots better graphs
