wat up nerds, anyone here play/played Trove?

Just got back into it thx to @Rawrie and I'm completely addicted. Don't even have time to play B&S cuz Trove!

 

So, for those who don't know, Trove is a minecraft-style MMORPG.

You pick a class, you level up, you farm for epic gear, just like any other MMO.

But, different in Trove is, that you can also mine and gather as you would in Minecraft, and most importantly, BUILD =D

 

Personally I'd compare Trove mostly to Runescape, due to the fact that it's an extremely grindy game.

Most of the time logged in you'll be stalking a biome, grinding the dungeons trying to get that elusive higher tier gear drop.

Yep, it's extremely grindy. But that can be alot of fun with a group of friends.

The first time I played, I quit after a while for this reason, but that was for the lack of people to play with.

It's alot more fun if you have ppl to play with ^^

End game is pretty boring in this game, I might actually return to it someday.

Like I told @Elemental the homosexual, this game can get boring fast, but it's just a fun game to play with friends. The fact you can have clubs, build with your friends, etc. Gives you that creative ability in a game, not to mention there's plenty of dungeons and interesting events you can do. This game is still relatively new, with constant updates, so there's always more and more constantly released.

I used to be super addicted to it and was absolutely obsessed with Candoria. Had to collect 1000 cupcakes, 400 bleached bones, 25 golden souls and 300 steed feed to make Scoops the Panda.

 

I stopped playing once all my friends quit.

I gotta say, after last weeks update the game has lost most of its charm for me, which were the hourly dragon challenges.

They've decided to go with a more money-grabbing method of doing things, resulting in a lot of things being extremely easy to get when you spend alot of money, and harder/more annoying to get when you don't want to spend money.
