Anyone like any EDM?

The EDM I do listen to, I really enjoy. That being said, I can't stand like 90% of it. I think dubstep is obnoxious, which had a huge hype about 5-8ish years ago. Not as big today, but it's still just as shitty. Very, VERY few dubstep songs that I enjoy. Not even going to go into the other subgenres I dislike lol.

 

Typically speaking, I enjoy mostly house. Anything from Krewella really, as well as Adventure Club. I have been to EDC twice and have been to various raves and shows, and have seen quite a few big names in EDM, and Krewella has consistently always had the best show (other than Gareth Emery @ EDC 2014).

I cant stand "EDM" music and its culture.. I remember back in middle school people used to call me "eurofag" for listening to trance and techno all the time. They all were listening to Eminem, fall out boy, country and what not. Fast forward 4 years later everybody is listening to "EDM" because its the latest fucking trend! As much as I understand some of what you said, I don't like the way you generalise every EDM artist that makes music into one. I dislike some of them for the reasons you said, in fact although I listen to a lot of EDM I dislike a large portion of the songs but certain artists (Yes, they are artists.) just make music that I love to listen to. You're right for some of the artists, some of the people, some of the fans, but they really aren't all bad due to certain reasons, they aren't the same.. it's too diverse for that.

Yeah i know there are some talented peeps out there. Just the ratio between good artists and bad ones is really low...
