While in my opinion the only way to get the most out of an mmorpg is to get in as close to launch as possible I think the gaming community has been jerked around before on these types of games, so I can see why he'd wait.

After reading a bit on the reddit page, it seems like there are some pay to win elements to the game...

 

That alone would stop me from spending any money, as well as the $40 Canadian price tag.

I won't lie i was hyped for this game, still am but won't be buying it yet, not until i am sure i have a decent amount of people to play with me, also since it's b2p if there's p2w elements in it that effect core gameplay i won't even consider getting it.

Also with people complaining about the P2W, the devs are trying to remove some P2W features from the game. I don't think the devs are that retarded to make us pay for the game and then make us pay even more to be better. If anything it's just a pay more to advance faster. Like a mobile game, but still bad I guess.

You do know how much content BnS actually has and the fact BnS removed grinding, released with little to no content at launch and the next couple updates are nothing compared to what they can actually release?

 

Thing is, the only reason so many people played BnS is because Myself and others got people Student passes, Once the week ran out these people either stop playing or did not want to deal with wait time.

 

With BD, its B2P.

As I said, I will only play it if someone buys it for me, I'm done with these mmos launching with little to no content.
