[Rejected] JB Quiz for CT

Who wants to take a quiz before playing any game? Don't really care why I would be taking it but if that came up on me I'd simply just leave.

 

It would show that we are pretensious and that we are stuck up about our rules.

 

I even hate servers that make you agree with some set of rules before even playing.

I doubt that will really be any different, I spammed rules command in chat every round and there is also rules pops up at pb when you connect now, still the as cancer

I see your point, but the kinds of people who are too lazy to take a 5 question quiz are also the kind who are too lazy to read rules and freekill because they dont know the rules...

And the same people will answer them anyway and still break the rules. People will do what they will no matter what we do. All we can do is admin and police the server the best we can. It's been my experience of running pb servers from their inception that this is a problem that we've spent extensive amount of time and resources to address. We've had a pb server for more than 5 years and we've found this is the best interest for the server and new players.

I feel like this is a great idea. Make it so passing grade is like 4 out of 5 questions right. If they fail to pass said test, they will be banned from playing CT for (lets say 3 months). Afterwards they can make an official request on the forums to retake this exam, however, make it a little bit harder than the first test to punish them for fucking up the first one. It would create more forum accounts to be made. It would make PB an a lot more enjoyable server to play on. While we're at it , make it so the test requires an age limit like 15 or something so we know that whoever is playing CT is at least a teenager. If they lie about their age, we'll find out and ban them for a week.

We need to make PB the #1 PB CS:GO server.

What we can do is make a !quiz plugin about the rules of the server.

 

The plugin would be like this:

 

Each 2 weeks, you will be able to participate in using the !quiz plugin.

Using the !quiz plugin will give you 5 random questions, each giving you 100 credits per question answered correctly that you can spend in the ingame !store to buy skins, trails, hats,..

If your answer is wrong, the correct answer will be shown.

The time remaining until you can answer a new series of questions would be shown by a timer when you open the !quiz plugin.

 

Sounds a bit simple, but encouraging the playerbase to learn the rules is something that has more value to me than store credits

We're already the #1 24 slot PB server in the world if that counts for something

Whether they answer the questions right or not, doesn't mean they won't break the rules. Also count in the factor how you can't put every situation possible into a matter of 5 questions. Every CT will break a rule sooner or later, and the ones who are there just to rule break will be taken care by admins.

 

Also the ones who are actually there just to rule break would be able to answer the questions if they know how to play JB, and they'll just break the rules after they finish the quiz. I don't think this is something we need to add, and age limit to me is definitely something I don't want. Believe it or not there are some young people who know how to play better than most. I even have personally asked @Dominic to play CT just because all of my team has no idea what they are doing.
