Well, the time has come for me, it has been fun and memes, but today, I officially stepped down from the SG staff.

I hope that what I left behind was mostly good and benefitial communitywise and that it helped bring the community to the level thats on now in terms of popularity.

I'd like to personally thank @Nuclear Onion, @R3TROATTACK, @Bread, @Prez, @bethy and @Spartan for all the support along this ride, along with many others that were just plain nice people and friendly and that made me want to stay for so long here.

And because I suck at making huge motherfucking threads, I decided to just respond to the obvious questions in a Q/A style.

 

So are you leaving for good?

No, I stepped down from staff. Yes.

 

Why did you step down?

Mostly personal issues, but also the lack of interest was starting to become a bit of an issue, and as much as I love power, I don't like to hold it and say fuck it to the responsibilities.

 

Who's taking ze?

If you had paid enough attention, you would notice that ZE was taken over by @Crazy Swede from the most part for a couple of months. Along with that, I'm pretty sure @R3TROATTACK can help him out in the techincal bit that I did.

 

But surf...?

Yes, the surf development will indeed be halted as of now, now it's up to the team to see what path they decide to take.

 

Will you ever come back to be staff?

If it happends, it will be farther down in the road. No.
