[Answered] Unholstered pistols

I'm on PB, I'm a CT and I come out of armory and this T is in his cell aiming a pistol at armory door. I shoot him in the head. Another guy and I have a small debate then @WickedZealot cuts in telling me that I cannot kill a T for having an unholstered pistol and I need to ask them to drop it.

Now, no disrespect, but Wicked has said that we have always gone by that rule. Another regular player on PB also defended my side because we have gone by that rule at least since I've been here.

 

So the question is, can I kill a T when he has a gun aimed at me or a teammate?

Clearly you don't respect what I said was true which is a shame, also don't play with your words in one part you write about unholstered pistol and at the end its changed to the gun aimed at you ..

 

An CT can not on the spot kill an T who is holding a Pistol (who has not fired it at the CT), the CT gives an warning to the T to drop that pistol - if the CT does not act on this, the CT can kill the T holding the pistol (give the T a chance to drop the weapon). Any other gun but pistol - the CT can kill the T who is holding it. If the T with Pistol fires at CT - Kill him, if he disobeys your order to drop it - Kill him, but you can't kill him on the spot for holding it.

I already established with another admin that I cant kill someone on the spot for accidentally pulling it out or whatever, I wouldn't do that, but in game you said that we need to ask them to drop it because pistols are less dangerous towards CTs. Tec-9 And Deagle are both one shot kills to the head. What I'm getting from this is that T's are allowed to run around holding pistols and the CTs have to ask each and everyone of them to drop it, that rule will be abused by Ts so much.

 

I've just never played by this and now I'm confused and I wanted extra clarification from @Wawa or @Nuclear Onion

We are talking about what happened in-game where a player picked up the pistol and he got killed over it - he was not running around with a pistol.. as thats another thing which he can be shot for or given a warning shot to drop the pistol (ie running over a pistol on the way to big cage for example, the CT should give him a chance to drop it without killing..)

 

I am not talking about Deagles and you are well aware of that since we were talking about pistols found in the prisons (which every map has a random one placed in there). My point of all I have tried to say is: if the player picks up a pistol - give him a warning).

@WickedZealot an unholstered gun of any type is KOS. Primary, secondary and even Zeus. If it's not holstered, they can be killed for it. Obviously if they get baited and have it out for one second, you shouldn't kill them for it. But in Dominics example the T spawned in the cell, grabbed the gun and aimed it at armory. That's KOS.

Picked up the pistol from his cell, crouched next to his bed, and aimed it at me and my CT buddy while walking out of armory. Not just because he picked it up.. that's a different situation.

 

I know because I killed him.

If a T has a pistol unholstered it's an instant kill. This is unless the circumstances of being baited where they would have no control over it or walking over it without noticing, then in which its necessary to give time for the person to drop it. At no point besides those is it not OK to insta kill.
