Real Ball Plugin

Hey,

 

A friend made a realy cool Ball Plugin for jailbreak. You can pick it up, and throw it with E! It will bounce. This is very usefull to play real soccer on jb. Check it out, it should be added.

You can also modify the sourcecode if you want like adding a trail, or change the gravity from the ball.

No need, no one even accuatly plays the soccer in jailbreak because the CTs just make the Ts get in the goals. Its extra work for nothing. Also, since you can pick up the ball with E I'm guessing it's a prop which would enable prop surfing. WE DONT WANT PROP SURFING ON JB. That would be so cancer.

What you mean with Prop Surfing? Its an grenade entity and you cannot stuck people with it

Nvm then, and prop surfing is when you pick up a prop, put it under you and start jumping. We used to have props on TTT but it got removed.

And whats the effect then? o.o This is just a ball plugin and it works fine.

Edit: Just read about the plugin and it says if "attacked" the player will drop the ball. Also, it seems like the maps would have to be edited so that the current ball in the map could be removed. Also looking at the ball menu, it seems you could add unlimited balls, so we cant give the ball menu to regular players cus it would be abused. So basically the admins would have to add a ball to the map whenever soneone wants to play soccer unless the plugin did it automatically but from what I saw in the video is that the admin would have to add the ball.

Seems cool, but I don't think anybody would make good use of it a week after it's introduced

Let me explain something.

 

If you add a ball as admin, it spawns EVERY round automaticly. You can only add one ball at once. Mottzi is not dumb. Hes a very known coder in CS:GO and CS 1.6. He does this like 8 years or so ^^ Player CANT add balls unless they have the admin ban flag. Which can be modified if you want...

 

So:

 

Only Admin can spawn the ball.

Players cant.

If you spawn the ball on a map, it saves automaticly in a config file located in sourcemod/configs/ballspawns.cfg (if you want, you can use the Z Flag so everyone who has the Z Flag (which is root access) can add a ball on the specific map)

If u type !ball as a normal player, it only says like: Ball plugin by mottzi. Ofc you can remove this as well since he added the sourcecode to alliedmodders

Makes sense. Seems like a cool plugin looking more into it. Still I dont think it's needed on JB. Maybe on MG. Maybe.
