Also idk if you can do this with demos but you can assign file locations with over wolf. I completely agree that Overwolf is easier it's just much too much work to set it up and stuff. Also, taking the risk of the demo messing up and running too low frames makes Overwolf the better choice. Link to comment

Yeah I understand what you mean, that's why I offered to help him set up, I'm such a good person. 1 Link to comment

It's a good choice and I liked it while I had it. But I see people in their videos recording with it that are so loud but the people in-game are quiet. Would probably still suggest Overwolf over Plays.tv although it's a good program. As I said though, demo recording is easy if you don't feel like downloading a program. Link to comment
Nuclear Onion Posted June 9, 2016 Content Count: 3462 Joined: 04/07/13 Status: Offline Share Posted June 9, 2016 (edited) In response to the OP, as Spiked said, just use a third party link like dropbox/mega.nz/mediafire to place your .dems in. Using the forums attachment system for .dem doesn't work. In response to the posts about what programs to use for recording, we prefer demos over anything else, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It's the most simple, foolproof way for us to see everything. Please only give us other video links if you CANNOT in anyway provide a demo. 1 Edited June 9, 2016 by Nuclear Onion Link to comment

Goku Posted June 10, 2016 Content Count: 2589 Joined: 02/05/12 Status: Offline Share Posted June 10, 2016 I highly recommend using overwolf to record demos instead, it shows when you open console so you dont need screenshots of your Steam IDs and its also just easier to find the files. If you want to use overwolf message me and ill help you. since when do demos capture console...? As Onion said, please just use CSGO's built in demo ability. Not to mention, I would much much much much much much much (you get the point) rather look at an actual screen shot of the console then have it be in a demo. It's ridiculously easy to just hit F12 and publish through steam's built in screenshot function. Valve provided us with these beautiful tools that help us with rule breakers...why are you guys trying to over complicate it with these third party tools? Link to comment

I wouldn't put in the screenshot section "In demo" or "In video" I was just mentioning that demos do in fact capture console. Link to comment
