[Answered] Subscriber tag command

I was wondering if we could get a command for subscribers that would allow us to receive a !settag command in console that would replicate our current tag.

 

Ex: !

Server sends the !settag command that would replicate the current tag of the subscriber to their chat or console.

 

The reason I feel this would be helpful is that it is a serious pain to make a new tag or make a temporary tag and switch it back. This could help with new tags because if you wanted to keep the same colors but switch the letters/characters like I do a lot, you could just copy the command and delete the old letters and replace them instead of re-doing the entire command with all the {}'s. In addition to this, if you wanted to make a temporary tag, this could help not only make the new tag faster but paste the old tag after.

 

Lastly, for SA's+, if we want to go undercover, the moment we type something in the chat we are easily exposed if you have some colorful tag like most subs do. This could really help with going undercover on servers and players not recognizing us since we would be able to change tags much more freely.

 

P.S. how do you make a poll? I am curious as to how many people this could actually benefit.

if you do sm_settag {blue}I am fabulous in console you can still have it back by pressing up or down button if you need to change something.

errr wat, but if i wanted to change something to my current tag i just type !settag and it shows a replica of the one i am using currently in console then i can change the stuff there. You can just make a note pad to copy and paste from and i don't really see the point of a command to switch tags.

Seems pointless, you said if you or another SA typed in chat you're exposed. Just type sm_settag none into console and boom your tag is gone.

I dont want no tag I just want to be able to easily switch tags. I dont think I made it clear what I meant
