Add Chat Ranks to the Bhop Server. 9 members have voted

This has been slowly bothering me since I started playing on the Bhop server.

Why is there no skill grouping/ranking system yet? @Vick

 

I think we should implement a ranking/skill group system similar to the one used on Surf.

 

We could even use the same rank names found here: http://www.steam-gamers.net/forum/showthread.php?t=66092

 

I (and probably many others) would appreciate having a ranking system on the bhop server.

I believe it's because the timer being used is fairly basic and didn't come with a pre-made ranking system. Dunno if it would be possible to add/code a ranking system to work with the current one.

As Bread said, the current timer we're using on Bhop doesn't have pre-made ranks. Adding a ranking system to the current plugin would be very challenging. Liam mentioned that it would take many edits for it to work and overall not something we're interested in creating. Maybe in the future I'll change the timer to one that supports ranks, but for now I plan on keeping the current one.
