The pokemon go hype was huge and took the world with a storm.

I myself have enjoyed the game massively, and I still regularly go downtown with friends to try and catch em' all.

When the game first released I remember the city being filled with people playing Pokemon. People would sit around

everywhere in the parks and play pokemon together. Anyway. Everything that goes up, must come down eventually.

I was wondering how many of you still play pokemon go (if you ever played) and how many have stopped!

 

I've noticed the number of people playing in Oslo has fallen substantially. Guess the results might be interesting.

Like always, big releases cause big hype. There's the people who have no patience and get bored with things very quickly, so they will stop playing after the first few days or so. Then theres the "trenders" who will go with the flow and do whatever is currently trending, so as the big mass of people who stop playing after a few days moves to other things, so will that group. Then theres the minority of people who will actually stay loyal and play a game that they like for some time. Right now, the masses are evening out. I myself, didn't really enjoy playing the game.

Haven't played too much recently. However, since I found out that my college is filled to the brim with PokeStops, I'll probably be getting a bit more active on Polemon Go.

Still playing every day. About halfway through level 19, with a fuck-ton of Pidgeys ready to start evolving the ever loving fuck out of them (Sadly I'm without a lucky egg to help boost, so I have to rely solely on numbers). I kinda detour around the nearby mall on my way to and from work to hit up several PokeStops, one of the two gyms if I can (the other is just far enough inside the mall you can't hit it from the drive) and catch more Pokemon.

 

And I'm on vacation this week, so plans include (hopefully): the Children's Museum, the Zoo, the State Fair, and just in general downtown around the canal. I might even bring my kids with me.
