AFK Freeze.

Can you inspect your knife and turn on/off your flashlight while the order was AFK Freeze? I have gotten warning shot lots for this... Just wondering

From what holy told me when I asked him afk freeze would mean no movement and I don't think turning on your flashlight makes any movement besides flickering lights

By definition 'AFK' = 'Away From Keyboard', thus any action at all on the keyboard would be going against that (including flashlight).

 

Whether or not we go by definition or change it to be suitable for Jailbreak, I have no clue

Flashlight is not apart of AFK Freeze. As for inspecting your weapon, I don't think people can even see the animation of you inspecting it, so how would you know?

 

Yeah, just checked if you can see the animation of an inspect on another person, you can't.

AFK freeze means you can not move at all. Including keyboard and/or mouse movement such as looking around or knifing.

 

Emphasis on the movement. Essentially AFK freeze means no:

 

• Crouching
  
• Jumping
  
• Running/Walking/Strafing
  
• Looking around
  
• Knifing/Shooting/Throwing grenades
  

 

Just to name a few things off the top of my head.

 

Again, the main use of afk freeze is to weapon check. So don't be a fuckwad and use it for shits and giggles or as means for easy kills. Things like turning your flashlight on and off or inspecting your weapon do not hinder the CTs ability to do his job.
