[Rejected] New Model Ideas...

Hello all,

 

I'm just here today to suggest a couple of new models for the store. I don't know if they would be sub only, that would be up to the higher ups, and I could care less if they were. I know among the SG community, Overwatch is a very popular game. So my idea is to maybe add a Tracer and Genji model? I don't know if this would be do-able, but it's just an idea that I think would be cool for the servers.

I'm pretty sure if they exist then I'd be begging them to go on already. It's a matter of people porting them yet or not. Most likely place to find models is gamebanana, but I don't think it's been made since I last checked.

There's this Tracer player model I found for gmod on the steam workshop. Now trying to make it work for CSGO is another thing.

 

There are a bunch of other models that people have ported over for use in Source Filmmaker/gmod if you google around. One example is here.

Ah, I was going off of costume, as Tracer has orange and white, and Genji was more darker tones.

Yes, although the game itself is non-canon, the lore is in the animation videos, and probably comics if there are any...just like how it is with tf2

There are a lot of non Overwatch models out there that could still be used in SG servers. Most of these models are around half a megabyte and closely resemble the outlines of CSGO models with the exception of the non humanoid models. I have all of these models downloaded and on my hard drive.

Also, the server that own these models are fine with other servers using these models but if you need confirmation I can always ask Rulucy or Shufen for permission since I run into them a lot playing ZE.
