bring back spam section where posts dont count

Listen up sonny. You haven't been around for the golden days of memes. Back in the post/pre-xeno era of SG we had a fine community thriving in the spam section. You couldn't thank posts and comments didn't add to your total posts. The people there shit posted for the sake of shitposting. It said Spam but you knew deep down it was something special. You could make 3 threads in a single day with nothing but the word xd in each of em and no one would mind since it wouldn't pop up in the thread feed. Memes came from the soul. There was nothing to gain except shits and giggles. It was guided under ExtremePotatoes who gave us freedom and tools, not restrictions. After Extreme stepped down and got banned, the place was left in limbo, but it was a happy limbo. The community was still there thriving and feeling satisfied with what they had. But then someone decided changes had to be made. For legal reasons we could no longer post nsfw content. Xeno decided he knew what the memes community deserved even if we didn't need it. But he aint meme batman. He killed the anything goes section and thus the Meme Machine of 2016 was born. Along with this the section was moved to offtopic which allowed the posts to be treated the same as any other post. And thus the name "Meme Machine" became a self-fulfilled prophecy where posts lost their humanity and became machine-like and soulless. There can never be something more to gain from memes or else they will become tainted.

Memes won't ever die but memers will.

From the thread where I changed the name:

http://www.steam-gamers.net/forum/showthread.php?t=65736&p=794688&viewfull=1#post794688

I've disabled thread prefixes, and ability to give thanks.

Edit:

The posts in the section no longer appear in the statistics at the bottom.
