So today JailBreak was being Cancer as always, So I PMing some admins trying to get them on and they all had an excuse not to get on. I even said something in the shoutbox and no one came. So today im suggesting we fix the admins shit. Everyone had an excuse not to come help the server. That is your JOB come help. I'm not trying to bash the admins but you need to help the server. I don't care if your playing Arma, Or on TTT, Or just out right don't want to do it. Come on and help the server. @Goku @XeNo. The only person that came was @Stunningjam

 

 

Just to shut you down right away, it's not their JOB. They don't get paid. And, I know this is a shock with some of them (looking at you @Leon Mordecai), they have lives outside of S-G

My job is customer service at my local store. Being AO is a side project or hobby if you will. Same applies for the admins. Being admin isn't anyone's job. No one is being paid to do any of this. We do ask that admins help when they can, but we have a system in place for when you can't get an admin on. If you are unable to get an admin, you can make a player complaint, which you're already aware of. Sometimes admins just aren't able to come on or are busy doing other things. This thread is so far beyond unnecessary.

 

Locking this thread before it gets any worse than it already is. I'd imagine some other AOs or BDs will likely want to comment though.

First and foremost, our Admins are not at your beck and call. They are not paid, they all more or less volunteer to help the servers WHERE and WHEN they can. They are not required to put their lives on pause to go attend to the servers, nor do we expect them to. We have dozens of Admins and the fact you said Stunningjam came to help shows that even if some have reasons to not come, you can find one that will.

 

I honestly do not like your tone towards our Admins as if they are your personal butlers that should come help you whenever you want, they aren't. They help keep the servers clean when they can and are not required to drop everything the second someone messages them. Some Admins have no problem stopping what they're doing to help, and most of our Admins are pretty good about responding to issues.

 

I propose there's nothing wrong with our Admins, but rather the issue is with you. If you have this attitude towards them, I do not blame them for not showing up to help you when you call. You may want to readjust your attitude towards our Admins if you expect them to help you out when you call them in. I personally would not stop what I'm doing if the person messaging me believes it's my job to go help whenever they message me. That's the fastest way to get off my friends list.

 

This thread is unnecessary and the only thing it accomplishes is show how ungrateful you are for our Admins. If they have a reason to not come, respect it and don't call it an excuse. Ask another Admin, post in the shout box, make a player complaint, do NOT make another thread bashing our Admins like this again. They are all volunteers and are in no way REQUIRED to come the second anyone messages them, nor be "on call" 24/7. They are only required to do their best to help when they CAN, not when you WANT them to.
