What GPU should I get?

I've been trying to build a computer for the last 3 months now. I need one final part and it will be done. This next paycheck I get I will be able to get a gtx 1060 or should wait one more paycheck and get a gtx 1070?

 

What should I do?

Before saying anything could you list the components you already have?

In my opinion it's worth getting the 1070 then just because you are aiming quite high with that 6600k and 16GB of DDR4, so you might aswell go for a proper build. 1060 is mainly a 1080p card and I assume you want to be able to go higher than that with this setup.

I just bought a 1060 myself, and it is amazing. Runs everything great. I dont think its worth it to pay 200 dollars more for a 1070. Use other money for games, and other things that you actually need.

Right now I'm just using it for games, but later I may do a few projects.

Get a gtx 1070, great quality and shelf-life.

 

Still got my gtx 770 perfectly working.
