Jailbreak not the same?

I recently started playing on the SG jailbreak server and the last time I played was maybe 2015 and that was on a different group of servers (swoobles) and from what I remember, it was must more constructed, there were rules that prevented the abuse or lacklustre performance of cts making it so that there was a difference between a good and bad ct.

The more I played the more I noticed that most of the things on the map were never touched, the CTs were never doing anything more than "get out of your cells, go to this place on the map, *nothing for minutes at a time*, finish=freeday". Either this happened, or most of the CTs would be no where close to paying attention and just on random parts of the map, usually that means that they wouuld just be 2-3 cts camping somewhere while the other couple did what they were suppose to. It just seems like jailbreak is nothing more than one basic command, provoke Ts to rebel and don't give any incentive to even follow what the Warden says (such as winning climb would reward you with being the last T). But it seems like a waste of time to just sit around and wait to die to some unfunny ct trying to make pointless jokes in order to waste time since we are all waiting in some sort of location so that they can get backstabbed by some rebelling T.

All this information for one simple question, Am I missing something or is Jailbreak extremely different?

Jailbreak is and always will be entirely dependent on who is on CT. There's CT's that will do as you say and just send Ts to one location they know has no teleporter/vent and other CTs that will have Ts play games or do lots of things in one round.

From what I've experienced in other servers, they give CTs an excessive amount of power when it comes to killing Ts and that's why their CTs do tons of different stuff. In many, many JB servers warning shots are not a thing. The CT tells you to do something and has full power to instantly headshot you if you disobey. This makes for incredibly oppressive gameplay and while some might say that it means Ts have to be more cunning or skilled, it makes a majority the servers unfun to play. It's either that or the servers make CTs into pussies that can't do anything and just lose over and over, which is the same thing but reversed.

I think our servers is a healthy balance, but unfortunately that means gameplay slacks a bit depending who is on. If there's a person on that is really good at being CT, you'll have more active orders. If someone isn't as confident, they won't let Ts go to anywhere that has a vent or a teleporter since they would be too worried about getting rebelled on and losing.

Psssst, @XeNo I assume you posted that on tapatalk? You forgot to approve the thread :larry: I got you tho.

As for the OP, I skimmed it. I'll read it when I get home in less than an hour and respond if needed but assuming xeno did that for me already.

Many times, it's about how comfortable the CT is in his position.

New CTs that have been getting rekt for 5 rounds have the mentality of "Fuck these guys, I AM LOCKING THIS SHIT DOWN." and will be highly strict.

Regular CTs that have been dealing with rebellers well will be very lax. Orders like "Freeday no past first cell" will be given, even though you can go grab the scout from pool. This is because the CTs are confident that they can deal with the threat and like the little hint of challenge.

It's all a matter of the CTs. Unless of course, you take your own orders...

Thanks for regurgitating xenos post!

I won't hold it against you though as you obviously can't read.

I'm a regular CT and i give strict orders just because fuck you.

Though Prison Break may change in its players and scenery, it will always generate some kind of mental disease and that's what makes it prison break.

I know a lot of people don't prefer CT due to the amount of whining kids on T side who ejaculates mental rage upon your sorry underpaid guard ass if you as much as take 1 hp from them or don't appease to them. Which sadly leads to people either thinking it's not worth the trouble or simply dislikes CT.

Then again. like me and other CT's, we enjoy playing it cause the sounds of howling underage banshees curing your tinnitus somehow pleases us.
