I just wanted to make a quick post that yeah ammo isn't unlimited with reload. A weapons have a max of 2056 bullets just so everyone gets an idea :p

Punky and I will post our thoughts later on this and I swear I didn't forget about this thread. I haven't had a chance to talk to him about it because I got overwhelmed with college crap this week so sorry guys ;_;

or simply re-enable !give command

There was a reason why this was taken away (which you know) :p and the higher ups agreed on keeping this command for higher ups only. You could have to talk to a BD if you really want this command back as SA+ but I'd prefer to keep it disabled in terms of avoiding the lag

Enabled zmarket temporarily for testing.

How it's working atm:

- ammo is still at 2k, but you're allowed to rebuy at any time.

- 2 nades are still a thing, but you need to buy them again to get your 2nd nade.

- you should be allowed to rebuy kevlar with it aswell.

I'll try to make an alias for /guns.

In my opinion, this was a terrible idea.

When I join our own ZE server and I'm tempted to leave because the gun system is so weird and complex, I can only imagine how regular players feel. The server has been dying out a lot and this isn't helping. If there's an ammo issue, we should switch to infinite ammo with reload and deal with it that way.

This whole buying and saving loadouts along with the option to buy nades and it's based off how much money you have and shit, without the usual !guns command available makes it so weird to play ZE. When ZE is such a popular game mode, the first impressions are big and our first impression is, "Wait how do I buy guns?". Then the whole gun system is unfamiliar as fuck to someone who isn't a hard-core Zombie player who knows wtf Zmarket is. Where as PLENTY of people know what !guns is and how to use it.

Even if the core systems are similar in how they work, it looks different, feels different, and therefore will be seen as different and weird.

!zmarket is a familiar system in all popular zombie escape servers. I feel that people will adjust once they learn how to use the system because other regulars and me are happy to explain how the system works to newer players or other people that were not aware of the changes. Also, it allows room for correction whenever the occasional newbie decides autosniper and scout are a viable weapon. Since you can buy again in game.

Infinite ammo with reload is a must on zombie escape as difficult maps are getting more and more popular. If you would like to implement this idea and see how it compares to the !zmarket idea, heres a link to an unlimited ammo plugin that syndicate gaming uses

While that's all in all a good thing, that people are willing to help out new players, it doesn't really apply to my issue with it. A guy looking just to play would be instantly familiar with the !guns system, not !zmarket. If he joins and can't figure out how to buy guns within the first minute or so, and one of you guys not willing to explain how !zmarket works is on, they will just leave.

Zmarket is disabled again and I added Franc1sco's Unlimited Reserves Ammo plugin to see how it works out for you guys.

Edit: What I've done is brought back !guns but also enabled !zmarket. So what should hopefully happen is that !guns will be the main way to get your weapons at spawn but !zmarket will still allow you to buy weapons in the middle of a fight (ie. a boss fight)

Testing this right now. Hope it works.
