I got a pop-up on my computer when I updated it yesterday and it said I could delete the older version of Windows I have. If I were to do that, would it effect/delete any of my files? Link to comment

If so, there is a Windows.old file in your C drive most likely. EDIT : The windows.old file is some of the old files before you updated to windows 10 if so. Link to comment

Already had Windows 10, just a normal update. I'm asking this because I can't play CS:GO now with more than 30 FPS when I used to get 200 and I wanted to see if deleting the older version would help. In the main menu when I first launch CS and when I continue playing. It seems to fix itself after I tab out and back in, but even then it's still a bit laggier than usual. Link to comment

With it sticking at 30fps, I remember someone having the exact same issue a day or so ago on cs, it was Wolf (not Wolfee) I think honestly can't remember. Few people on reddit and elsewhere are saying this worked: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-3142772/windows-update-csgo-fps-issues.html Edited September 21, 2016 by Luke Link to comment

Dominic Posted September 22, 2016 Content Count: 5678 Joined: 01/07/16 Status: Offline Share Posted September 22, 2016 Desktop/laptop and vid card HP ENVY Desktop - 750-420 - GeForce GTX 960 But now I'm SUPER confused. I thought this was because of an update. But I went on my smurf to play a smurf game and when I logged on I was getting my normal FPS, not capped at 30. So now I'm confused on what even caused it. I try to launch CS:GO on my main and I get capped at 30 FPS, I go on my smurf and it's normal. Extremely weird, don't know what it is. I also double-checked by logging onto my main, onto my smurf, back onto my main, then onto my smurf again. Link to comment
