Latest Five Nights... May be delayed

The latest version of the Five Nights at Freddy's may be postponed indefinatly. Game was orginally due to be released on Friday.

 

The game creator says the plot/theme in the latest version is a bit too unsettling. He goes on to say when he thinks about it, he "feels sick".

 

This all could be a huge ploy to get more attention to the game as it wasn't expected until later in October. However, with the history of this series with the RPG being knee-jerked removed from Steam for the creators' view of "poor reviews", it is possible he could do the same thing with this game.

 

IMO, if he does this, he loses the credibility he has had with the introduction of his highly popular series. I know he's a one man job and really doesn't make games to become famous or anything, but he is quickly gaining reputation similar to Fez creator Phil Fish. Not to say I want to play this game, if this plays out where he pulls another "announced and expected" game I will not care what he does ever again.

 

Its a sad thing as indie devs have a hard time getting any sort of recognition that he has seen and with his last 2 games has undone the respect of his customers and other developers.

Hmm... It must be very important if he delays it less than a week before it is released. Especially if he doesn't even have another release date... hope all goes well...

If it happens its because he wants to try to change the tone of the plot so its not a "sickening". There's nothing technically wrong with the game.

Well I'm saying if he has decided to delay the game and change it literally 4 days before it is supposed to come out, that game must be very, very "sickening"

Looks like the game released? At work, but just received an email about FNAF: Sister Location being available.

Gametheorists are about to go live with the game I believe

 

EDIT:

This new sister location game is VERY different to the other games in the FNAF series.

Just watched the whole game on Gametheorists' stream, and it was actually a pretty good and spooky game.

It's no longer a survival game where you sit in a room and watch an ipad. It's way more linear and story driven.

I would definately recommend to watch a playthrough or even buy the game if you're looking for some

spooky video games :^)
