Ct mic spam

So I was playing some prison break earlier and the ct team was kinda just all talking over each other it was annoying and hard to understand what orders or just what any one was saying since the ts also talked over them and gave bs orders. Is there something we can do to combat this it made the game really unpleasant and made just wanna leave, I played for around 2 years and took a long break come back and find this, is this the new norm? Has the community devolved to this or was this just a fluke? I really loved playing after such a long time and would love to play more but I don't know if I can handle this level of communication confusion and really just overall annoyance, Thanks for reading!

Yeah, there's nothing that can be done. There's no wardens, and the CTs already get a 30 second window to prepare themselves and get the first order set. CTs can combat the Ts giving orders by declaring 'No T Orders', it works better if said at the beginning of the round. If orders need to be given when Ts are really loud, CTs can order them off mic temporarily. I'm sure there'll be the annoying players that come on and just love to contradict orders, but the best thing to do in situations similar to that is to call an admin on to the server.

If CTs start mic spamming to the point where orders are being conflicted and/or ruin the flow of the gameplay, it's probably best to call an admin in either via the chatbox, Steam PMs, and/or Teamspeak so that they can diffuse the situation ASAP.

I was playing with him and agree entirely- the CT's are all 10 year old's and scream over each other with the same orders. So hard to do anything.

I don't think anything such as a warden will be implemented to really put a stop to this. It'll happen occasionally but usually if two people start giving orders one will let the other finish their order.

I was also on today when both of u were on complaining. You are right that people were yelling over eachother, but it wasnt just 10 year old's. You were saying stuff in the midst of that to, and just getting mad. So you don't really need to blame it on the younger people on the server. You were getting pissed and making just as much confusion as anybody else. It's not really right to say people that are "X" age are like "X".

 

Also by the most of the time on the server it's t's giving false orders to start confusion. And do what the people said above me if its getting to a point where u cant handle it just call an admin.

The issue is people care way too much about stupid shit and don't focus more on having fun. "Shift walk here no jumping, no crouching". "Line up and face the ground no crouching or jumping". "I told the T to freeze but he flinched 2 centimeters, can I kill him?" "The CT gave me a warning shot for being past first cell when the order was no past first cell, but I wanted to heal and he killed me for going past first cell. Can you slay him?" Edit cuz I thought of a better one: "I tried to knife the CT in the back but he turned around and I missed but he shot me anyway. Can you slay him?"

 

People need to relearn how to just chill and roll with things. What we have is a bunch of people using JB as their outlet to take care of their authority issues. So you have a bunch of kids on CT team trying to be a total dictator and if someone else tries to give an order, they get upset because they're no longer in charge.

 

My little rant here has more to do with the players in general rather than the OP topic but felt like venting a bit. You can ask @Dominic first hand how irritated I'm getting with the stupid questions. And that feeds into the OP issue. JB should be about CTs giving some orders and the Ts finding ways to rebel and challenge the CTs and make the game fun for everyone. Not the CTs trying to be total dictators and control every tiny aspect of the Ts to the point that they're concerned over whether or not the T is crouching or shift walking some where or if the T is completely afk frozen for no reason. Ts are supposed to present a challenge to the CTs and rebel. Instead you have CTs that care so much about their K/D that they completely neuter the Ts ability to do that by being so specific and picky about what the T is doing. This leads to CTs bickering about which order they want the Ts to follow, and the Ts getting annoyed over the stupid orders and the confusion over which stupid order to follow.

 

Ultimately what I'm venting about boils down to this, and I recommend people start to do if you want to see the overall attitude of the server change for the better:

 

Who the fuck cares? Chill out and have fun. This is a video game, not the third Reich. Give some orders and have fun. This is a role play game, not comp.

 

I feel a lot better letting that 3 month+ frustration vent out... going back to work now. I love and hate all of you equally.

I don't play prison break that often, but maybe at every round there could be a randomly chosen CT (This allows all the control freak 10 year olds have a chance) to become the head warden, and he/she would be able to give orders for the first 10 or so seconds without having the other CTs or Ts interrupt them.

The PB server doesnt have a warden it has been suggested multiple times and been rejected. Also if anyone wants to give orders they can. Server has no rules that says 1 can take over. The only rule that can restrict u from giving orders is if ur conficting someone elses order. And for interupting the first 30 seconds of the match t's are muted so the ct's can give orders.
