Alright, I understand we just added a few more forums awards for the activity on the server but I realized there wasn't any recognition for posting on the forums. I strongly believe we should add an award for how active you are on the forums.

 

That being said the SG community should implement a new reward for post count!

 

Ex. (Numbers can be adjusted by AO+ if necessary)

100 post = bronze badge

500 post = silver badge

1000 post = gold badge

5000+ post = diamond badge

 

I know people in the community might say "people will just spam to get these badges" that is not the case. We have forum moderators as well as rules to follow so that users can not spam the forums with meaningless posts.

We had a CA+ discussion about this and decided to not do this as, like you said in your final paragraph, people WILL spam posts. Only to an extent can we really start deleting posts. Most people going for those better badges wouldn't be the kind of people to go into a political post and say "yep" after quoting someone. Thank you though for your suggestion however.

Not that Stunning hasn't already said it, but there's proof in the first couple pages of admin apps that people will just spam to get this.

Basically I came up with this idea so that players WOULD post on the forums more often because they would be engaging in something that they can show off, but since @Stunningjam said they already has a meeting about this, then this idea can be scrapped, rejected, whatever..

To just add on to stunning's post, "your post count is already shown below your name so that is basically like an award" - paraphrase from @XeNo or some other BD I can't remember who
