[Rejected] west wood map idea

Can we make it so that the map westwood only spawns r8s and nades cause I feel it is really appropriate for the setting. Pls

Well R8 don't spawn anyway because they are broken anyway. I wish they could spawn, but not only R8's.

I like the idea of having working R8's on the map; but not ONLY R8's. I believe the other guns should still spawn.

I remember from my gmod days there use to be certain TTT servers that would have mini 'events' that would happen whenever an admin or similar power wanted to have one. For example, the admin could make it so the next round would be a death match and players would be notified of such. Not sure if something like this could be implemented, but it could be a nice change of pace whenever a higher up on the server thinks people will enjoy such a thing for a round. We could have one of these events be R8's only or something like that.

As a matter of fact, whenever Slade is on TTT when this map is being played, he usually spawns everyone in with an R8 Revolver most of the rounds.

Yea. This would be pretty cool but spawning R8s are broken. If someone has a deag equipped and they pick up an r8, it gives them a deag. Same thing vice versa.

Idk about this map, but when ever I tried to put revolvers on a TTT map and try to pick them up in game on the server, it instead decides to pick up a deagle. Offline it works fine, maybe there's a plugin interfering with the revolvers?

With offline, it doesn't register your inventory or skins you have I believe, like I would by standard have a USP-S equipped but if I play on offline it would override it and put the P2000 on instead.

 

Side tracking, speaking of special instances like @Ham had stated, through my months of playing on TTT and being on the forums almost daily, I never see any TTT special events

 

I would really like to see like holiday events and stuff like that like JB did for halloween. I know the whole hit registration on the server is already mess for some reason but if it would be possible, I'm sure people would support this idea @arottenpickle @SL4DE

I actually wouldn't mind seeing suggest Western styled weaponry on this map, or other maps following a set theme...

...and every time I drop the revolver vote, there is an overwhelming vote for revolvers. Most of the time, everyone on the server will agree to play a round or two "revolver only". It's a good time.

There is something on the server preventing it.

They may be brought back in the near future for high nooning purposes.

 

 

 

With offline, it doesn't register your inventory or skins you have I believe, like I would by standard have a USP-S equipped but if I play on offline it would override it and put the P2000 on instead.

 

 

If you are online on steam, but playing a map offline, you should have your inventory, as all items are saved on the Steam cloud.

Of course! There are a few things I'm working on to help bring the nearing holiday spirit to TTT, but in terms of events, we'd love to hear what you all have for ideas, or events you have done in the past that you wouldn't mind participating in again! I'm sure pickle would agree.

 

But, seriously, if you have any ideas for events for TTT, or others servers, create a thread in the suggestion box. Some of the best events in SG have come from Regulars, and I'm sure that isn't going to change anytime soon.
