i think the minigames server would be great having auto hop because it would make it easier to get through the course maps ect.

Bhopping is already insanely easy on this server, auto-hop has been brought up a more than a few times and it's always been and always will be a no

 

Not to mention it ruins the fun for those who practiced how to bhop since there's no more glory in it with autobhop

I would find this a better idea than to check for scripters every 5 minutes.

This would take away an obvious advantage and would discourage a whole lot of players to script.

 

A downside could be the effect on the playerbase, but that's not an issue these days

I don't think the server needs auto-bhop, but many other big minigames servers do have it and for some reason that makes those servers more popular.

I know that something like this has been discussed in previous threads, but there is something a bit different to what he's saying right now

And I think that's completely fine. I don't know if it's possible to only have auto bhop on course maps and not on the dm/dr maps, but I do think it's a good idea for course only.

1. it's been rejected ample amount of times

2. the bhop settings are already configured to make it easy to even the most inexperienced bhopper

3. no one wants to see someone with 1500-2000 speed jumping around delaying the round for people

I'm not as against as I use to be adding autobhop to mg with how dead it is now days but if the reason you want it is to make courses easier then I would have to disagree with adding it for that reason. But I'm no longer relevant or play on the server so I don't care either way:)
