  • The T tester does not work
  • Only 1 entrance to the nether portal
  • Secret does not work

 

 

I found a version of the map that has the following features

  • Additional area next to the sniper tower
  • Multiple entries to the nether
  • (I am not sure if the t tester works in here) In the map we have in the rotation the room is blocked off where the "T tester" is located but now it has a nether portal you can enter through.

 

In the house above the hill there needs to be some work done.

Seems like a shitty version of our minecraft map. Even without the T features (which btw are a pain in the ass to add and recompile because of how the map is made), I feel we should keep our current version.

 

And no, I will not be fixing the T features on this map, if anyone else wants to try, go ahead, but both me and Fozilla looked at this and it's fucking horrible.

I don't understand how it is shit compared to our map we have now, I recently played on the map in the rotation and then went into a private lobby to look at the other version. I liked the idea of 3 entries to the nether so people can't camp in there. It is quite annoying when you are a T and all the innos are camping in the nether and you can't do anything about it. While in the new version you will be able to get around that by taking 1 of the 3 different entry ways.

 

Yes I do agree it needs a little work but couldn't you polish it and make it look as good as the one in rotation rather than fixing the T tester on the map that is already rotation.

Also it takes a lot of time and effort to get any traitor testers working on any map. Based on how complex the traitor tester is on this map, it would take a crap ton of work just to get it working for little gain.

 

Yes it does take a lot to fix the t room, that is why I suggested polishing the other map to make it look the same as the one in rotation because it adds more than just the T room such as a whole addition where instead of just being water, you can now have a spot to snipe in next to the actual tower.

You don't understand Leon - I fixed all the T items a while ago but there was something wrong with compiling I believe because it's all made of blocks and it makes it loads of time extra to compile so it wasn't worth it.

 

As for the map, the extra nether portals do indeed stop nether camping, but imo the house played a big part of maps as it was a good area for people to clump up in. I feel it just isn't as good from what I can see.

Yes and the house will still be viable to go to but it in my opinion should not be the only reason why we wouldnt implement this version and get rid of the map that is in rotation now.

 

Also in the version i have suggested the house on the hill isn't broken, you can still go there so I don't see what your point is exactly if you want to explain more.

You don't have to bump something that was posted last night, we'll get to it eventually...

 

The map doesn't look as polished as the current version, which isn't great. The only good thing about this "update" is the nether entrances and the t room, but they're kinda pointless if the map isn't as good as the original. That being said, we're going to keep the one we have because it is liked and it performs well.
