Cuz every time i get to an area with a potential hazard to teammates, i freak out thinking i might kill someone who runs out of nowhere (that seems to happen alot, especially on sst with the rocks, and lost world with the power switch) and get banned. Just saying- Two Dwarves In An Overcoat Link to comment

If not, you would have a valid reason to appeal and more likely than not, your ban would be lifted. While your fear of TKing someone should not be so great that it takes from your enjoyment of the game, it is necessary as without a certain degree of awareness, everyone would be TKing each other. Ask the question beforehand, don't do it when people shout not to; I don't appear to have many problems doing so. There are plenty of reasonable times to do it, even if the risk of Tking is high. Seeing humans vs zombies as groups tend to make things easier when making decisions like those. I have seen you play and haven't noticed any fear yet. Just appears as a habit in my opinion, but that is only one. Link to comment

If not, players will be warned not to do it again Link to comment

If you want to get into the heli on atix_helicopter you have to jump in. If people are by the windows it isn't your fault, and similarly accidents do happen. In the harshest of accidental cases, I would slay the person (if people died) or have them zombied if they cause people to be zombied. Sometimes you should let it go, or you are just punishing for unlucky cases, which defeats the point of punishing because punishing is meant to make someone learn a lesson, but if the lesson to be learned is "Don't do anything which could cause an accident" aka "Don't play any of our maps" then its stupid. There is a difference between unlucky cases and these so called accidents. Sitting by a window and being turned is one thing, but staying on the ledge while everyone is warning you to get down because the last 5 times humans lost was because of just that, isn't an accident. In SST zombies will chase humans in broad daylight. Shooting the rocks out to kill or block zombies may be an issue of timing, but it is fairly obvious who is a TKer when they shoot themwithout a zombie even close. Same on Jurrasic Park with the bridge, taking boats solo, pressing the nuke when a full game is in progress, etc. I don't think admins are stupid and they tend to judge pretty fairly based on the situation. The lesson isn't "Don't do anything which could cause an accident" aka "Don't play any of our maps", but don't play them like you are only one there. Respect the players and act accordingly. If there is a problem playing a game like a team sport, perhaps story mode on another FPS is the better option? Just my opinion anyways. Link to comment
