"For the first time in human history, our Steam Community will decide the nominees for the prestigious Steam Awards. This November you will get to choose nominees for 8 different categories as well as have the opportunity to create your very own award category."

 

Basically you select games for various categories, get some badges and experience, and share various opinions.

Here are mine, spoilers ahead for different games aged over a year:

 

 

 

• "Test Of Time" - Age of Empires II: Been playing AOE when I was a kid, still play it today.
  
• "I'm Not Crying, There's Something In My Eye" - Undertale : Too many moments that brought a tear to my eye. This one was really closely matched with To the Moon.
  
• "Just 5 More Minutes" - Rocket League: Just remember, every match is about 7 minutes, which means I can squeeze 3 more matches before work...
  
• "Whoooaaaaaaa, dude!" - The Stanley Parable: This game is an experience.
  
• "Villain Most In Need Of A Hug" - Portal 2: Fucking Wheatley.
  
• "Game Within A Game" - Garry's Mod : TTT, Murder, Sandbox, DarkRP...
  
• "I Thought This Game Was Cool Before It Won An Award" - Crypt of the Necrodancer: I followed this game before it was even a game. Great developers, fantastic music, well done.
  
• "Best Use Of A Farm Animal" - Worms Armageddon: Concrete Donkey, Super Sheep, Mad Cows...
  
• Custom "Games in Dire Need of a Sequel" - Half-Life 2 : Memes.

• "The test of time award" - Star Wars Battlefront II: - I simply loved this game when I was younger, and I still fucking do. Will always have a special place in my heart.
   
   
  
• "I'm Not Crying, There's Something In My Eye" - To the moon: I almost put Undertale, but I cried more from this.
   
   
  
• "Just 5 More Minutes" - Dota 2: Love this game, and it's hard to quit playing when you got that first game going.
   
   
  
• "Whoooaaaaaaa, dude!" - Fez : *Mind blown*.
   
   
  
• "Villain Most In Need Of A Hug" - Portal 2: I agree with Sl4de on this game.... ;_;

• "I Thought This Game Was Cool Before It Won An Award" - Don't starve: Insanely fun game, specially with the new "Don't starve together" version.
   
   
  
• "Best Use Of A Farm Animal" - INSIDE: This game is... it's an experience... And it's weird... It's something you should play @SL4DE

"I'm Not Crying, There's Something In My Eye" - This War of Mine

"Just 5 More Minutes" - The Long Dark: Awesome game with a great atmosphere

"Whoooaaaaaaa, dude!" - Pony Island: meme game that fucks with your head

"Villain Most In Need Of A Hug" - BioShock: "Would u kindly?"

"Game Within A Game" - CS

"I Thought This Game Was Cool Before It Won An Award" - Subnautica: great survival game, some scary shit in the water.

"Best Use Of A Farm Animal" - Stardew Valley

Custom "Memes award" - Paladins: cuz Overwatch

Half-Life- I recently replayed this, and still remember everything from when I was 4.

Undertale- The Game that taught us to love

Portal 2- "I'll get the solution in just 5 more minutes..."

Human Fall Flat- The sense of scale and proportion in this game is nuts.

CoD: World at War- At first, I wanted to put Overwatch, because who wouldn't want to hug Widowmaker, but then I thought Hitler would be just as good.

Goat Simulator- Flappy Goat. Goat RPG. nuff said

CS:GO- The only game to make me pray.

Mount your Friends- I still don't get why grown men get on the goat, or why it is balanced on a stick, but it's all in the name of fun.

Half-Life 2- @SL4DE We don't want another episode of HL2, We want HL3!!!
