Not to mention the fact that the battery is not removable, so if that dies you need a new phone or a costly repair.

Funny that you say this because today the battery in my iPhone 6 died on me. Wouldn't turn on at all. ONLY $40 and 12.5 minutes later my phone is good as new. Wasn't expensive, didn't take to long. It was actually a very easy process.

$40 for a new battery????? Wow. $50 I get a triple battery with rugged case. 5 days per charge. Also, changing my battery requires no tools and about 30 secs.. simplicity

$40 for a higher end iPhone battery with a lifetime warranty. ANYTHING goes wrong with it that isn't water damage and it will be replaced for free.

My overall point is that I prefer having a product thats usable and customizable.
That's not what you said. You said and I quote:

The specs of the new ifail 7 have only now come close to the notes. 2.3ghz quad core, 3 gigs of ram, 4k video, massive screen.
Which is entirely not true.

It's also hilarious how an admin on the community acts on the forums. @Caution

You do realize that you talking about a community whos members make fake ban requests and appeals and crude/rude jokes daily. Welcome to the internet my good friend. Not everyone here is little miss daisy

I can use my phone for well over a day without charging it, whereas I could not do that with either of my androids. Both dead within 6 hours of doing nothing. While I do greatly enjoy the ability to access files on an Android, (easily) replaceable batteries & extra storage aren't on every android phone - I couldn't do either on my Note.

What phones did you have? I had the same issue with my Samsung S6 it would die really quickly. My Samsung S7 Edge however lasts over a day :)

G3 & Note 5. G3 had a removable battery and external memory. External memory is great - but the iPhone I have already has 256gb...so don't really need external memory anymore, so I don't consider that a 'plus' anymore that Android did hold over iPhone years ago. The removable battery on the G3 was great...up until a few months later when they stopped producing them and stores stopped selling them. My battery randomly shit itself and my phone wouldn't turn back on. I checked every possible store in the region, including stores that are dedicated battery stores - no one sold the battery. I would have had to wait several days for a battery to get sent and would have been without a phone that time...which isn't possible while being in the military. I needed my phone on 24/7 in case one of my Marines needed me.

The G3 did have an incredibly slick look though when the special case from LG was on it. It had a circle cutout on the top that would display a super cool looking analog clock.
