I got this idea from browsing another forum page on another website and I thought it would be neat to add it here. Currently we have two things, we have our Events section in our forums where people post upcoming events, which is nice, and is sometimes helped out with a sticky in the shout box. We also have our Calendar which is located here. It looks pretty damn dry with nothing on it. My suggestion is that we throw in an "Events" at the top in the larger section, right around here I see a little room In this tab we can create an active calendar, which is easier to spot than the tiny grey text we have sitting underneath, which me personally overlook those a lot and only see the bold white above it. In this Events tab would be a calendar, constantly updated with big events, small events, get-togethers that could be across other games, such as Overwatch, Town of Salem, Rocket League, Payday, League, anything of the sort and doesn't even have to be related to CS:GO. So if you were ever looking to do something with the community you could click on the tab and see, "Oh look! There's an event to play Town of Salem today at 2:00pm EST! I can join them!" Basically the idea behind this is to better organize big and small events across the community that can be managed by CAs or AOs+, and at request of smaller ranks in the community possibly, can have their little events get inputted in there. In this section could be a link to request an event, which would require a description of the event, the game, and the time, and you will be notified if it's inputted in! Thanks for reading! EDIT: @Vick yo man I see you putting in events in the calendar there so shoutout you for real 2 Edited December 10, 2016 by Rye Link to comment

Whether it's helping or not idk but it seems like a good idea. Maybe if the notifications weren't at the bottom of the page but instead at the top some where that would be nice EDIT: Put that shit on the home page too because why not 4 Edited December 24, 2016 by Leon Mordecai Link to comment

The calendar link will work there in the subnav bar. What I may try to do once we fix the SSL stuff on the side bar is find a spot to put maybe upcoming events to show up in between featured and new server. 2 Link to comment
