I have joined undercover as well with people not knowing who I am and I am still completely in disagreement that it's hard for admins to do their job in PB, speaking directly towards freekilling. Now that doesn't mean I don't think rank has literally nothing to do with it - I'm sure there are some cases where it does.

 

Xeno and I differ when it comes to this - I honestly don't feel bad for you guys getting put on a "PB shitlist" for performing your role as an SA. I'm not trying to come off as a dick, but that's pretty ridiculous. If it bothers you having players be upset with your decision to intervene / not intervene in a situation, don't play PB on your admin account. That's like me refusing to make decisions to punish SA's or CA's because I don't want to get put on their shitlist. We all make tough decisions based upon the rank we are at, and we are all fully cognizant of what that entails 95% of the time.

 

I will gladly do everything in my power to make the best possible rules for PB and get everyone on the same page as much as humanly possible - but at the end of the day, there is no rule I can reasonably create that tells players they can't complain about being free killed. This is something you guys as adults on an internet video game have to come to terms with. I was shit on in PB, ZE, MG, and any other servers we have had over the years as well at times for performing admin duties, all the way from SA to even now. That is not something myself nor anyone else can stop.

Admins getting worked up over people complaining in PB is a bit ridiculous, in my opinion. Literally - just sit there and say you didn't see it. If they get obnoxious / overly rude, warn / kick / ban. You guys (meaning admins in general) that insert yourself into every player's drama is so farfetched to me because you're creating an environment for yourself that's toxic, annoying, and just not fun after a certain amount of time.

 

Either way I very rarely see the classic "FREEEKILL!!! FREEKILL!!! ADMUN" that can't be wrapped up in a few seconds. Even though I rarely play CT on a daily basis I have people telling me I freekilled them to which I maturely & calmly explain why and move on with my day.

 

I don't understand why admins have to treat the situations they run into any different (besides a mute/kick/ban), obviously they run into those situations with a lot higher frequency than regular players but I still don't believe it's as overbearing as it's made to be.
