Ham Posted January 5, 2017 Content Count: 202 Joined: 09/21/16 Status: Offline Share Posted January 5, 2017 Most components in a laptop cannot be replaced, either because of the way the laptop is built (e.g. parts are soldered on) or because individual parts are hard to come by/very pricey. MAYBE you could upgrade the RAM, but it's totally dependent on the laptop itself. A quick google search with the model of your laptop should give you results. 1 Link to comment

That is the true benefit of building a pc, because they are so upgradable. Also, although upgrading your ram can make your computer faster, it will have no effect on gaming performance. 1 Link to comment

Inception Posted January 6, 2017 Content Count: 363 Joined: 12/26/15 Status: Offline Share Posted January 6, 2017 The best thing you can do to a laptop is changing the Hard Drive into a SSD (Solid State Drive). This should cut down onto boot up time, loading time, and overall speed of your laptop. Might have to look up a video on how to install a SSD if its possible with your laptop. and transferring your operating system from your hard drive to a new SSD. Link to comment
