[Rejected] A Friendly Reminder in ZE

Remember back in ZE there used to be message saying "Pistol and knife have the same running speed" and this message was displayed every 3 mins or so? Could we have something similar to that but as a reminder and it should say something like this

 

"FRIENDLY REMINDER: Mic Spamming and Racism is strictly forbidden and if continued you will be punished" (something like that)

 

 

For these past few days I've been hearing a lot of mic spammers and racism (mostly mic spammers) on the ZE server. I believe this will help prevent mic spammers and racism because it is a message that will bring awareness to our rules for those who don't read it and it is a constant reminder to all players that they shouldn't be doing this or else they will be punished.

I mean we could put something like "Please type !rules to see a list of server rules" (think we already have that but I forgot lol). Even if we do add that, there will always be mic spammers and racism regardless because a server with a large population will have something like that. Best bet is to call in some admins to handle the situation.

What you said is true and I completely agree with you, I just feel like this would at least reduce the number of mic spammers and racism that join the server

Problem is that a lot of times the automated messages get passed pretty quickly due to the spamming. I do not see adding that will do anything to change the occurrence. I don't like saying it but its one of those times where even the action will not change the result.

Haven't talked to @Vick yet since he's been offline for a day but I pretty much agree with Leon and Spiked that this really wouldn't make much of a difference and its just the same as telling a person to read the rules or motd.
