New graphics card? Other parts needed to support a new card?

I have been thinking to upgrade my graphics card. I'm wondering if, to get a new graphics card, I need any other parts for the graphics card to run in my pc. Also what card are you using, and whats the price? And what suggestions you have , not extremely expensive.

a great graphics card for the price is the gtx 1060 i use it and get outstanding results on farcry, gta, csgo, and everything, i could not recomend it more, it is $200 for a 3 gb varient and $250 for a 6gb varient

Well it depends @Metal cause if you have a horrible CPU and a great gpu, your pc will bottle neck which is not good at all, so your CPU would hold your gpu away from it full potential, the only thing I recommend you to do is to get educated on computers a little so you know if things are compatible or not, cause I would love to help, but I can't with out the specs of your pc
